Motorola Razr 50s could get 8GB of RAM; reportedly spotted on GeekBench
Motorola Razr 50s is expected to be the next foldable smartphone from the Lenovo-owned company and an affordable version of the standard Razr 50. The specifications of the smartphone have surfaced on a benchmarking platform, revealing details about its chipset, RAM and more, according to a report. The variant listed on the platform hints at the alleged handset coming with 8GB of RAM and Android 14 operating system (OS). Notably, the Motorola Razr 50s was also recently spotted on the HDR10+ certification website.
Motorola Razr 50s Geekbench List
According to a 91Mobiles reportThe Motorola Razr 50s has been spotted on the Geekbench 6 cross-platform benchmarking site. It was listed with a motherboard dubbed ‘aito’ which has an ARMv8 architecture. The processor is said to have eight cores; four performance cores clocked at 2.50GHz and four efficiency cores maxed out at 2.0GHz. While the chipset was not revealed, it is speculated to be the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X SoC that is also powering the Razr 50 globally.
It is said to run Android 14 and will come with 7.28GB of RAM. According to the listing, the alleged Motorola Razr 50s has scored 1,040 and 3,003 points in Geekbench single-core and multi-core tests respectively. These numbers seem to seriously undermine the Geekbench scores of the Razr 50 Ultra, which scored 1,926 and 4,950 points in tests conducted by Gadgets 360.
However, that’s not the case when compared to the standard Razr 50, which achieved a similar score on Geekbench.
While the Gadgets 360 staff was unable to verify the Geekbench 6.3. 0 scores, we were able to get our hands on the handset’s Geekbench AI scores. In this listing, the alleged Motorola Razr 50s managed to score 889 in the single precision test. Meanwhile, the half-precision and quantized scores came in at 887 and 1,895 points, respectively.
At launch, the device could join the Motorola Razr 50 and Razr 50 Ultra, the company’s flagship clamshell-style foldable smartphones.
