Many people enjoy cooking elaborate meals in the kitchen.
But the aftermath isn’t always fun and we’re talking about the dreaded task of cleaning your stove.
We’ve all been there: staring at those stubborn grease splatters and burnt-in bits, wondering if they’ll ever come off.
But fear not, a cleaning fan has discovered the miracle cure. According to them, it helps to remove those annoying burnt-on residues on your stove.
They believe that the 5p trick can make your stove look like new again.
The tip came after a stressed homeowner contacted Mrs Hinch cleaning tips and tricks Facebook group to desperately ask for advice.
She shared a photo of her electric stove and wrote: “Please!
“Someone has to know how to solve this.
“The scratches don’t bother me that much (although [I] (would love to get rid of them) but the last tenants completely burned the stove or something and that’s stressing me out.
“I can’t fix this. Does anyone know a good way to HIDE it?”
The post received more than 350 comments, as many cleaning fans wanted to share their tips.
One of them suggested baking soda, writing, “Put it directly on, mix with a little water to form a paste, let it bubble, let it sit for a few hours, then use it. pink supplies and a scraper.”
Another also suggested: “Baby oil….or olive oil.”
A third said: “I would try a paste of baking soda and water… it even removes spray paint.”
Someone else helpfully added: “If you’re stuck, don’t worry, you can use some baking soda and white vinegar to remove stubborn stains in a jiffy.
“Spray some vinegar and sprinkle the baking soda over it. Let this handy combination sit under a warm towel for a few minutes – up to 15 minutes.”

After an eight-week break, Mrs Hinch reappeared on social media in July of this year to share a heartfelt message of grief, in honor of her late father Alan.
The 34-year-old cleaning guru used her platform to connect with those who have suffered loss and spoke openly about her own healing journey.
Sophie Hinchliffe, nicknamed Mrs Hinch by fans, revealed that her beloved father passed away “peacefully in his sleep” in April.
In a moving post on Instagram, she spoke of the “deep, unimaginable pain” that cannot be expressed in words.
The first black and white photo showed Sophie playing outside with her sons, Ronnie (4) and Lennie (2). She shares her children with her husband, Jamie Hinchliffe.
Sophie added a poignant text overlay to the image: “Grief is a pain I can’t express in words. If it’s something you’ve never experienced before, all I’ll say is it knocks your legs out from under you.”
Her previous post was in May, when she announced that her father had passed away.
