At just £35, the Cotton Blend Textured Crew Neck Cardigan is an autumn and winter must-have.

Available in black and ivory, this beautiful cardigan features a contrasting neck and cuffs for a timeless look.

It is designed to be worn as an ‘elevated layering piece’, but can also easily be worn formally or informally depending on your own style.

The gold buttons add a touch of glamour, while still keeping the look understated.

It is therefore not surprising that consumers want to get their hands on one as soon as possible, before it sells out.

The vest currently has 4.6 out of five stars online, with one person raving about it: “I absolutely love this vest. It’s as smart as a jacket, it’s so comfortable and it washes well. Five stars for everything.”

And a second wrote: “I saw this on fashion slot on Lorraine. Looked smart and easy to wear so I bought it.

“It’s great quality with a cotton/polyester blend. I’m going to wear this a lot.”

If you weren’t convinced yet, a third said the cardigan was a “hint of Chanel.”

They also wrote: “I found the sleeves a bit long, but I can solve that little dilemma. I’ll enjoy wearing this in the future at.”

‘These are perfect!’ say fashion fans as Marks & Spencer hits the style jackpot again with new leopard print jeans

Another customer also pointed out the similarities to Chanel: “It looks like Chanel and goes perfectly with jeans, navy trousers and skirts.

However, not everyone was completely taken with the garment, as someone else said: “The cardigan looks good, but is a bit shapeless due to the material and therefore quite heavy.

“The design is nice, but I would have preferred a thinner wire.”

The vest is not the only piece of clothing Brands & Spencer While shoppers are loving them now, fashion fans are also loving their new leopard print jeans.

The Plymouth store took over TikTok to take a look at the pants, which are flared and have a trendy animal print.

“New, trendy and a must have for fall,” the video caption read.

“Do you want to be a leopard print girl this fall 24?”

People were quick to comment on the video, with one writing: “Loveeeeee I really need to buy this OMG!”

Meanwhile, other shoppers are obsessed with a discounted shift dress at M&S, which would make the perfect addition to their wardrobe.

This chic V-neck dress originally retailed for £56 but is now on sale for just £26 – a bargain that’s already caught the attention of serious shoppers.

Shift dresses are a timeless wardrobe staple, especially as a layered dress. This mini dress from Nobody’s Child combines all the best elements: comfort, style, and versatility.

Made from a fabric with a high cotton content, the dress is breathable and has a relaxed fit, perfect for everyday use.

The beauty of this shift dress lies in its simplicity: it is stylish enough for the officeyet comfortable enough for a day out with friends.

Is supermarket fashion the new high street?

DEPUTY Fashion Editor Abby McHale says:

Supermarkets have really upped their game when it comes to their fashion lines. These days, when you pop in to do your weekly shop, you can also pick up a selection of wallet-friendly, stylish items for the whole family.

Tesco has just announced a 0.7 percent rise in the quarter thanks to ‘strong growth in clothing’ and M&S has earned the title of the number one destination for womenswear on the high street.

Asda’s George clothing line earned the supermarket £1.5m in 2023, 80 per cent of clothes at Sainsbury’s were sold at full price rather than discounted, and sales of Nutmeg at Morrisons have also risen by 2 per cent over the past year.

How is it that supermarket fashion is so successful?

The clothing is not only affordable but also of good quality, and much of the clothing is part of programs such as the Better Cotton Initiative.

They often stick to classic pieces that they know will last for years.

And because they buy so much stock, they can deliver quickly and the volumes are cheaper.
