Mum-of-22 Sue Radford shares a ‘super easy’ dinner soup recipe for her brood
Getting 22 kids to eat their vegetables sounds like an endless nightmare, requiring every trick in the book to sneak them in.
However, Sue Radford has revealed that her dinner recipe was so delicious that her family begged for more.
The Radford family often shares glimpses into their lives Instagram where they have amassed over 535,000 followers.
Sue, 49, from Morecambe, Lancashire, was bombarded with requests for her soup recipe after sharing a video on their Instagram Stories.
“Vegetarian soup boils away [drooling emoji],” she captioned a photo.
Moments later, she shared a video showing that the soup had turned a rich orange color after the vegetables had broken down.
Sue said the warm-up dish left her children wanting a second helping.
“My soup is so popular,” she said.
‘All the elderly have put a few in their containers so they can go to work tomorrow [laughing].
‘Now my hubby and I go to bed together to watch movies, that’s romance for you [laughing].”
Fans were impressed by the video and wanted to know how to make the soup themselves.
“The soup recipe is in high demand, it is so easy to make and so tasty,” said Sue.
“I put potatoes, carrots, rutabaga, sweet potato, onion, cabbage, two vegetable stock pots and salt and pepper in it.
“I also put a little cream in it.
“You can just put in what you really want.”
The Radford family juggle their busy lives with a YouTube channel and their Channel 5 show 22 Kids and Counting.
Sue isn’t the only chef in the household as dad Noel’s baking recently left their TikTok followers’ mouths watering.

He placed the diced chicken and vegetables in a large serving bowl and then seasoned them thoroughly.
The dish was then covered with foil and placed in the oven.
Sue revealed that they repeated the process over a few cans, as one can wouldn’t be enough to feed even “a quarter of our lot.”
Impressed viewers included one person desperate to find ‘Noel’s Cookbook’.
The parents of 22 children spend around £450 a week on groceries, including up to 18 pints of milk and 44 pounds of potatoes.
