She took to TikTok to share her step-by-step guide on how to vacation on a budget, and her video has since gone viral.

Nicole first explained that she would be going to the travel website Skyscanner, which highlights the cheapest flights first.

The mother then selects that she is travelling from Manchester Airport, as that is where she is travelling from, and then fills in that she is travelling to ‘everywhere’, as this will show the prices from different locations.

In this particular case, Corfu turned out to be the cheapest option to travel to.

Nicole clicked on the dates and looked to see which airline appeared. In this case it was Tui.

She said: “I knew the cheapest way to go on holiday to Corfu was with Tui.”

She then went to the Tui website and entered the dates she knew the cheap flights were valid, then clicked on the ‘low to high’ option to see the prices.

Then all the hotels for those cheap dates were displayed.

She said, “That’s how I got the vacation.”

Nicole advises them to always google their discount codes before booking.

For example, type in the Google search bar: Tui discount codes or Jet2holidays discount codes.

Since she shared her video, she has received a lot of attention for her clever trick and many people have taken to the comments to share their thoughts.

Someone asked: “So you book the whole holiday with the company or the flights, Skyscanner and a hotel at the company?”

Nicole replied: “I booked the whole holiday with TUI because it was cheaper this time, but I always check if it is cheaper to book separately before I book.”

Another added: “I did this! In Rhodes with my son as we discuss this now, booked for Friday night, was in Rhodes on Saturday afternoon.”

A third asked: “Do you like Skyscanner better than Google Flights? Do you like it the best.”

Nicole replied, “I use both, but I like how Google Flights sets it up.”

Tips for a stress-free holiday with children

PARENTS have learned three ways to make family vacations with kids a lot easier.

Three experts offer advice on what you can do to make your holiday as stress-free as possible.

Family vacations are always fun, but with kids of a certain age, it can be more challenging than it needs to be.

Thanks to Travel weeklyHere are three ways people with young toddlers can have the best vacation possible.

Clarisse Chapolard, who is responsible for monitoring and caring for Club Med customers, says booking flights outside peak hours ensures the plane and airport are quieter, making for a more comfortable experience.

“Staff are also generally more available to help,” she adds. “Flights can be the biggest headache with small children, so travel short distances if possible.”

Clarisse also advises making sure there are activities near your accommodation to keep toddlers occupied.

A child-friendly hotel can make a big difference to your family holiday, especially when parents want some time to themselves.

Chitra Stern, founder and CEO of Martinhal Resorts, said: “Properties should be child-friendly and safe, but also stylish and comfortable for parents.”

Finding a place with bed guards, stair gates, bathroom steps and furniture with rounded edges will help prevent unnecessary injuries or accidents.

Alan Cross, director of travel agent relations at Jet2holidays, advises parents to look at package holidays for peace of mind, convenience and security.

“Families with toddlers will appreciate special facilities such as kids’ clubs, children’s pools, crèches, playgrounds, cots and high chairs,” he said.

Package deals can also include free child seats, single parent deals and discount codes. These deals are suitable for families larger than the standard group of four.
