Mums worry as Megan McKenna packs the baby bag: There are £90 slippers, but one nappy
MEGAN McKenna has left mums worried after packing her baby bag as she prepared to give birth to her first child.
The pregnant reality TV star, 32, proudly showed off her £1.6k designer baby bag from Prada, which she packed with everything from £90 slippers to an £80 camera.

Not only did the mother-to-be pack a huge selection of baby clothes, bibs, blankets and muslins, but she also stocked up on snacks and creams.
But despite this, the country singer, who admitted she felt “so overwhelmed”, said she only brought one diaper, leaving parents stunned.
In the short clip posted to social media, Megan, who recently left moms behind and said the same about her neutral nursery, said: “It’s time to pack. I have two [bags] and I’m going to have a separate one for myself.
Megan then revealed all the gear she packed for her hospital trip, as she explained: “Camera. My sister gave this to me. 40 color polaroids – two black and white, I just think it’s important to have options.

“White noise machine – it changes colors and stuff.
“Hot and cold gel things for your breasts.”
She then revealed she would only be taking one diaper with her, adding: “The hospital said they would get it but I’m just going to pack one [nappy] as a backup in case the baby just has explosive diarrhea on the way home and we don’t know what to do.”
After this, she continued: “Diaper rash creams and a brush because I think our baby will have a lot of hair.
“My mother now got me a little nail thing to shave off the baby’s nails.”
She made sure to pack her Stanley cup, sharing, “That’s getting packed because I’m a thirsty person.”
Not only this, but she also said, ‘Comforter, three blankets – my sister gave me this baby Burke, he’s so cute.
“This is actually a bag full of dummies, I only have neutral ones.
“Gluten-free snacks, three boxes of chocolate chip cookies, crackers, gluten-free Pringles, a gluten-free loaf of bread, gluten-free Kinder Bueno stuff, gluten-free cereal.”

As well as packing two nighties, she also showed off her chic Ugg slippers, which retail for £90, as she added: “I’m packing slippers, I’ve actually just got new slippers.”
That wasn’t all, as Megan, who recently started her rollercoaster fertility journey with “months of injections,” also shared: “Disposable underwear, some nipple covers, nipple cream and Vaseline because y’all told me your lips are really dry.”
“Five muslins: two large ones and three small ones. I think five bibs will probably be enough.
“Socks, just little white socks, and then I’m just going to pack two little sets of neutral socks.
“It looks like I’m packing so much, but I’m not because it’s clear I won’t wear one of the sizes.”

If that wasn’t enough, the brunette beauty, who is expecting her first child with footballer Oliver “Oli” Burke, 27, thanks to in-vitro fertilization (IVF), also grabbed three newborn outfits, three outfits in zero-12 months and four vests.
She was clearly somewhat concerned and asked, “Is that enough?” This is zero to three months, in case the baby is absolutely gigantic.
“I’m also going to pack a white swaddle, and then finally some mittens, just a few hats for when the baby grows.”

Once the packing was done, the TOWIE star, who first gained popularity when she appeared in the third series of British reality TV show Ex on the Beach in 2015, said: “I’m ready to go.
“It looks like I’m going on vacation for two weeks, but this is really hard, isn’t it?
“Packing is really overwhelming. I’m not going to lie, it’s really overwhelming.”

But social media users were left stunned by Megan’s hospital bag – not just by the mass of items, but also by the lack of diapers.

Meanwhile, one mother wrote: “Girl, I left the hospital in pants that broke my water! I gave birth at 10:30 PM and left at 4:00 PM. I think I only used diapers and an outfit for the baby! You’re not going to use any of that!”
In response, Megan wrote back and replied: “In Germany they keep you longer. That is your experience, which will not be mine.”
