Flanagan founded a cosmetics brand in Ireland Ella and Jo in 2017 together with skin therapist Niamh Ryan.

They sell everything from cleansers and facial oils to anti-aging products.

In an interview with The US Sun, Flanagan shared tips for looking gorgeous this summer.

SILKY SKIN

Flanagan said she “always” struggled with getting smooth legs until she perfected her shaving method.

She shared the three steps she uses for a flawless end result.

“Make sure you replace your razor regularly. For best results, it is recommended to replace the blade after every three to four uses,” the doctor said.

“Don’t be afraid to try men’s shaving products.

“They tend to have thicker, richer beard shaving creams, which in my opinion are better for the bikini line and legs.”

Flanagan revealed that the direction of the shave can have a huge impact on the end result.

“Shave downward first and then upward. That really helps with sensitivity and makes for a smoother shave,” she said.

PERFECT BROWN COLOR

Strawberry legs usually occur when hair follicles become clogged with dirt, dead skin cells, oil, or bacteria.

Flanagan said the condition, which resembles the seeds on a strawberry, can be prevented with regular exfoliation.

“Dry body brushing or using an exfoliating product will not only help with strawberry legs, but will also leave your skin smooth, radiant and well-prepped for any tanning products you use,” she said.

You should exfoliate at least twice a week to remove dead skin cells that can cause your skin to tan blotchy or unevenly.

Regularly moisturizing the skin is essential to ensure that the tan lasts longer.

“Adding a gradual tan to your tanning or body care routine is a double whammy,” she said.

“You’ll get all the benefits of the skincare ingredients to hydrate and condition your skin, while also getting a tanned, sun-kissed glow.

Flanagan said a gradual tan moisturizer hydrates the skin and gives it a sun-kissed glow.
