35-year-old single Jenna Hernandez from Connecticut tried online dating and came back with quite a story to tell.
She met a guy on a dating app and after a few days they exchanged their phone numbers and decided to meet up.
The couple met at a steakhouse because Hernandez’s date had said it was one of his favorite places to go.
She soon discovered why he liked it so much.

After the couple began eating, Hernandez discovered that her date was not allowed to use knives because his mother did not allow it.
She couldn’t believe her ears.
The mysterious man asked her if she would help him cut his steak, since his mother wouldn’t let him use knives.
“I was shocked and stunned that this happened to me because as an adult I would have expected you to cut your own food,” she said.
She explained that she was bewildered and confused by the situation.
Hernandez discovered that her date, who was in his 30s, worked in education and lived with his mother, but that he did not use knives because his mother “didn’t want him to get hurt.”
