My $4 night cream sounds strange, but I can see and feel the difference when I use it
A 32-YEAR-OLD has cracked the code to the perfect skincare routine.
However, the regimen includes a $4 night cream that comes with a catch.
Reddit user Routine Document 949 posted about this on the social media platform.
“This may sound strange because it is not specific to the face,” they said.
They explained that at age 32 their skin is “extremely sensitive” and “dry.”
“I use the Gold Bond Aloe Hand Cream,” they revealed.
HANDS OFF
The Redditor explained how they make a hand cream that can also serve as an effective face cream.
“I make sure to apply it shortly after washing, when my face is still damp,” they said.
They added that they sometimes try other products, but always come back to Gold Bond.
“I occasionally use something with petroleum jelly, like Vaseline, Aquaphor, or Cerave Healing Ointment,” they said.

According to Routine Document 949, Gold Bond provides a visible difference compared to other products.
“It also really helps with the redness I get from picking at my nails,” they added.
The Gold Bond Ultimate Healing Hand Cream is specifically advertised for the hands, but contains some ingredients that may be suitable for certain skin types.
It is specially developed for dry skin and contains vitamin C.
Vitamin C is a commonly used ingredient in skin care products to combat problems such as hyperpigmentation and fine lines.
Routine-document-949 wasn’t the only one impressed by the affordable hand cream.
Several satisfied customers praised the product in the review section.
“I saw an immediate difference in my dry skin,” one person wrote. “Not greasy, no smell.”
“Awesome,” added another. “Not too strong scent, very moisturizing, especially in cold weather. A little goes a long way.”
A third reviewer called the hand cream “reliable.”
“This cream is gentle and healing. [It] has a pleasant smell. It is not oily. It absorbs quickly,” they said.
“The best cream to soften my old skin,” wrote someone else.
