A savvy shopper has revealed how she keeps her bedroom cool on a budget without breaking the bank.
She said it can get incredibly hot in her Cape Cod vacation home during the summer months, but that buying from Amazon meant she didn’t have to buy an expensive brand.

Amazon buyer Kailey (@the_geriatricmillennial) shares useful tricks for everyday situations.
In a TikTok videoshe shared her “favorite summer tip for staying cool when your AC isn’t working in your bedroom.”
“Okay, my house is on Cape Cod and my bedroom is on the third floor of the house. We have really bad ventilation, air and heat here,” she explains.
She added that she had previously had to install a window air conditioner to cool down, but found it “annoying” and looked “stupid” and “inconvenient.”
The second option was to install a wall unit in their home, which cost about $3,000 to $4,000 to install.

Kailey came across a seasonal purchase on Amazon, but decided to spend the money anyway.
She admitted that she spent $70 on it herself, but found it cheaper on the wholesale site.

She recommended this tip especially for “rooms with poor air circulation via air conditioning” or where it is simply very hot.
All you need to do is unplug your old wall cabinet and plug it in to transform your space.
The fan in the appliance draws in warm air from below and blows out cold air from above.
