A WOMAN has revealed her boyfriend forgot she broke up with her after a skiing accident.

Jenna Brotherson, 27, married her now husband Mitchell, 27, just seven months after the incident after he continued to act as if the couple were still together.

In February 2020, Utah’s Jenna ended things with Mitchell because she was “too overwhelmed.”

However, the next One day, Mitchell tried to do a somersault while skiing, but blacked out.

He ended up in the hospital with a concussion and called Jenna to ask him to pick her up since he couldn’t drive.

“I’m like, ‘Why is he sending me this? I just broke up with you,” Jenna said in a TikTok video.

“Mitch kept messaging me and trying to hang out after his concussion and I was confused as to why he kept messaging me since we broke up,” he added.

‘I thought he might have taken the declaration to remain friends very seriously.

“It was so bad that I told him that my roommates and I were having a rough day and that he was bringing us ice cream.”

Mitchell’s kindness made her realize that dating him had been a mistake.

She asked him if he wanted to get back together with her, and realized he had no idea they had broken up.

Fortunately, after discovering what happened, Mitchell took things well.

“He thought it was super funny and I was relieved.

“It made it easy to get back together because before him we were never not together!”

Just five months later, the couple was engaged and married in September 2020.

Jenna said, “During my husband’s speech, he said he didn’t remember the breakup, but he’s so grateful it all worked out in the end.”

Her video, posted under the username @jennabrothersonhas probably left many with their mouths open considering it has been viewed over 1.9 million times.

TikTok users rushed to the comments section of the video to share their thoughts.

One person said: “What if he pretended to forget so it wouldn’t affect your relationship?”
