Fixing up your home doesn’t have to cost a lot, as one woman proved with her DIY project with the Dollar Tree.
She created her own dream interior with products that are inexpensive and quick to assemble.

TikToker Marilyn (@Marilyn__442) shared how she transformed two basic finds into a chic new piece viral video.
Dollar Tree is known for its affordable purchases, with most items costing just $1.25 each.
The DIY enthusiast eagerly took advantage and grabbed a few items from the household department.
With a glue gun, she got to work on her masterpiece that would become a true Pottery Barn experience.
HOW IT’S DONE
Marilyn used two plastic bowls from Dollar Tree and placed one face down and the other face up.
She glued the bottoms of the two pieces together to create a bowl with a stand.
Then she used Rust-Oleum Multi-Color Textured Spray Paint, which sells for $10.48 on Amazon, to give it a rustic look.
The end result was perfect to put in a bookcase as extra decoration.
She took it one step further and added black beads to the homemade bowl.
When she showed the decor in another video“Pottery Barn, who?” she asked jokingly.

Marilyn’s video has been viewed over 2.5 million times and was created because many people want to save money on their interior design.
Dollar Tree is known for its low prices on household items, makeup and more.
Several TikTokers raved about her creative interior design on a budget.
“That would look nice with flowers in it,” someone wrote.
“I made this years ago with gold paint and loved it,” added another.
“Okay this one is actually really good and looks even better,” a third commented.
“Running, not walking, to Dollar Tree,” wrote another.
“The first dollar store project that didn’t look like a $1 project,” said another.
Others were upset because they couldn’t find the product at their local Dollar Tree.
“I would love to buy these things and make them as Mother’s Day gifts. Too bad I can’t find the products in my store,” they said.
