My ‘fancy’ skin care serum from Dollar Tree is comparable to a drugstore serum
A DOLLAR Tree customer was stunned to find a serum that was comparable to a popular drugstore product and cost only $1.25.
She confessed that she wanted to stock up on the skin care product because she was impressed with the results.
She shared a photo of the budget-friendly beauty purchase on the Dollar Tree forum on Reddit, which has nearly 40,000 members.
SUPER SERUM
The multivitamin facial serum is formulated with vitamins B, C, E and niacinamide.
“I’m not a beauty snob, I have cheap and expensive things in my collection, what works, works!” she said, writing under the name Double spirit121.
“I bought this because it was $1.25 and why not give it a try?
“They even have it in a glass bottle (fancy), but seriously, it’s not bad.”
She raved, saying the serum is “honestly comparable” to an Olay product.
In Amazon’s Olay store, a Niacinamide 24 + Vitamin E serum sells for $12.68.
The brand claims that skin looks more youthful after 14 days of consistent use.

Niacinamide is one of two types of vitamin B3, according to Healthline.
It can improve skin health and is used as a treatment for conditions such as acne and rosacea.
Niacinamide is available as a supplement, but also in skin care products.
According to the Redditor, Dollar Tree’s serum is just as effective as Olay’s, but for a fraction of the price.
“I can’t get over how good it actually is,” she said.
FAN FAVORITE
Many people indicated that they had already tried the affordable serum, while others indicated that they were going to purchase it.
“I love DT Serums!!!! You can’t beat them! They work great for me!” said one.
“OMG I LOVE THIS STUFF,” another commented.
“I find it much easier to apply than some of the more expensive products I buy at other stores and it’s not as thick.”
