‘My favorite place’ cries shoppers at a store you’ve never heard of with £1 purchases
A LITTLE-KNOWN store you’ve probably never heard of is being hailed by shoppers as their “favorite place” for fashion bargains. .
You Know Who’s has hundreds of great value clothes, including cozy knits, dresses and even school uniform supplies for the kids, for much less.
The retailer offers a range of items including children’s clothing, shoes and homewares.
But with only nine shops on Britain’s high street – including one in Cowdenbeath, Fife – it’s not surprising that many people have never heard of it.
So let’s take a closer look at what it’s all about.
You Know Who’s insists that they are “taking outlet shopping to the next level” with their cut-label fashion.
The chain’s bosses explained their cut label approach to shoppers: “Picture this: a major brand orders 20,000 dresses from a factory. But then they change their mind and decide to buy just 10,000.
“The remaining 10,000 dresses are left without a home and at risk of ending up in a landfill – until we act.
“Rather than throwing away excellent garments, we offer them to you at discounts of up to 90% off the original retail price!
“We buy this excess stock, which the factory sells at a significantly lower price after removing the brand labels.”
They added: “We pride ourselves on curating the latest styles and trends from some of Britain’s best-loved brands.
“Our collection includes a wide range of brands that you KNOW.
“Unfortunately, we are often not allowed to mention the brand directly on specific items.
“One of the most exciting aspects of shopping at You Know Who’s is the thrill of discovery. Every item in our store is a treasure waiting to be found.
“Whether you’re a seasoned bargain hunter or new to the world of cut-label fashion, you’ll love the thrill of finding your favorite big-name brands for cheap.”
Shoppers have insisted in the past that they have picked up bargains at M&S, Tu Clothing, River Island and Next.
Savvy mum Lorna Cooper from Paisley yesterday stressed that the discount store is her favorite stop for cheap purchases.
Post on Feed your family for around £20 a weeka public Facebook group with 683,000 followers, she told her fellow bargain hunters: “This has quickly become my favorite place to shop lately because I’ve had so many bargains!
“[There’s] GREAT savings on school uniforms, jackets, pajamas and much more.”
And other fashion lovers are stunned after discovering it too.
“I had never heard of this store before but just signed up online,” one person admitted.
A second wrote: “There’s a real store!!!!!! I shop online with them but didn’t know there was a store.”
“Never heard of it, I’ll have to look into it,” said a third.
Meanwhile, a fourth wrote: “I’m becoming a fan too! 2 visits and 2 bags full.”
