My ‘gentle’ skincare approach works, you will have wrinkle-free skin in your 60s
A SKINCARE fan shares his gentle technique for fighting wrinkles.
They reported that their holy grail approach left their skin glowing and wrinkle-free even at the age of 60.
They said they swear by a few products they always have in their line, like Clarin’s Blue Orchid, Santal, and Lotus facial oils, which each sell for $67, or an oil for $17 on Amazon.
“Use a facial oil at night. Massage it in diligently,” Redditor Underground wrote.
“There are so many oils available these days that it can be confusing, but you can’t go wrong with Trilogy’s rosehip oil or one of Clarins’ three classic oils.”
They added that the investment in beauty products will cost the buyer about $50.
“You don’t have to pay more than about €45. [$49] “Max, because this is actually already an unbeatable piece of skin care,” they said.
“I have been using oils for about 30 years and I have to say that I can tell from my skin that they really work very well.”
The oils, they explained, were part of the gentle treatment for their skin.
“I’m a firm believer in taking a gentle approach to skin care,” they said.

“No scrubs, astringent toners, acids (except hyaluronic acid, which is not an acid as we know it) and definitely no retinol, although I know few would agree with that.”
Instead of what they considered to be aggressive actives and ingredients, they opted for as much hydration as possible.
“I’m more of a fan of maximum moisture than trying to erase lines, because I think hydrating and oiling do the same thing, but from the inside out. This is where the lesson ends!” they said.
Other products in their skin care line include facial creams from Burren Perfumery.
“Absolutely fantastic, natural creams,” they said.
“All you need are no wild claims about anti-aging, just a really high-quality cream without occlusive substances (silicones) or other petrochemical fillers and emulsifiers that prevent the cream from doing its job optimally.

Dr. Anatalia Moore is a general practitioner and skin specialist with more than 11 years of clinical experience.
She told The US Sun that her goal is to empower patients with the knowledge they need to take control of their skin journey.
She said the basic principles of a beauty routine are the same for all ages: it should include an effective cleanser, moisturizer and SPF.
“For me, moisturizers are super important, even in place of products with active ingredients,” she said.
“Finding a well-balanced moisturizer that provides the right amount of hydration, replaces natural oils and seals them in, literally stabilizes your skin.
“This in itself can quickly soften the appearance of fine lines and texture, as these are often worsened by dehydration.
“It also ensures that the skin can function as it should.
“This allows it to heal faster, which can lead to fewer lines and wrinkles, fewer flare-ups of dermatitis and rosacea, and shorter-lasting, milder breakouts.”
Dr. Moore’s skin care products:
“The point with this type of skin care is that you are committed to the long term.
“While you will see plumper, healthier skin immediately, the real benefits come over time as your skin repairs itself and gradually presents a renewed, plumper complexion to the world.
“These effects are long-lasting and permanent if you continue this gentle care every day.”
They revealed that dedicated skincare fanatics can expect results well into their sixties.
“Even if you’re in your late 60s and gravity is playing tricks on you, you can still have glowing, wrinkle-free skin,” they said.
“Lines and wrinkles don’t matter as long as the skin they are in is well cared for and happy. That’s what I’ve noticed!”
