My hair is almost 5 feet long, I have 50 products, but my favorites come from the kitchen
A CHEAP kitchen ingredient has become a staple in a woman’s knee-length hair care routine.
Zelda admitted that she is not loyal to any other beauty product when it comes to hair care.
The 23-year-old YouTuberfrom Savannah, Georgia, has amassed over 46,000 subscribers by sharing ASMR content about her.
Speaking to The US Sun, she revealed that her locks had grown to almost five feet long.
INCREDIBLE INGREDIENT
Zelda admitted that it’s difficult to recommend a specific hair growth product because her collection is so extensive.
“My hair care line consists of at least 50 products, all from different companies with different purposes,” she said.
“I am not tied to a specific company or product.
“I constantly change products and I like to experiment with new oils and brands.”
She said that canned coconut milk is the only product she has used consistently for the past five years.
“It’s not a hair product, it’s a cooking ingredient,” she said.

“The best kind is unfiltered and ‘first pressing’.
“It doesn’t work for everyone, but it seems to be a great moisturizer for my hair type.”
CUT THIS OUT
Zelda says supplements can promote hair growth, but she’s stopped taking them as she focuses more on a healthy diet.
“Supplements for women in particular often contain a lot of biotin, which is believed to be an important vitamin for hair, skin and nail growth,” she said.
“I’ve been taking a women’s multivitamin for years, but these days I try to incorporate more fruits and vegetables into my diet instead of relying on supplements.
“Not only for my health, but also because of the rising costs.”
SUPERIOR STYLES
Braids are Zelda’s favorite everyday protective hairstyle, but they’re not the only way to keep her hair from breaking.
“When I go grocery shopping, cleaning or stretching, I do it in my wide headband-bag style,” she said.
My favorite everyday protective hairstyle is a simple braid. This is what I usually wear around the house.

“Sometimes, if I really want to make it pretty, I’ll wrap it neatly in a 6-inch claw clip.
“But I do this sparingly, because the metal springs can easily catch hair.”
She’s a fan of trendy hairstyles on Instagram, like high ponytails and half-up, half-down hairstyles, but she’s careful about how often she wears them.
“I only wear them during the photo shoot and then I go straight back to my trusty braid,” she said.
KEEP CLEAN
Zelda previously revealed that it takes her up to 24 hours to wash her knee-length hair.
She detangles her hair the night before she washes it.
An hour before washing, penetrating oils such as coconut oil are applied to prevent excess water from entering the hair shaft.
After washing with shampoo and conditioner, she leaves a nourishing mask on for up to 90 minutes.
Zelda shampoos her hair again before rinsing it out and waiting a few hours for it to air dry.
