The wedding and event content creator shared a photo on TikTok of large clumps of hair that she said always fell out when she showered.

She then showed the audience a photo of the back of her head, which was extremely thin and patchy.

“I started getting bald spots and it wasn’t pretty,” she said.

To prevent her hair loss, Mani started oiling her hair with three different oils.

The first oil she uses is grapeseed oil, which you can buy on Amazon for £3.99.

The oil strengthens the hair shaft and provides a natural shine.

Mani uses three tablespoons of the oil, but she said it depends on how much hair you have.

She also uses rosemary oil, which has been proven to stimulate hair growth.

Rosemary oil is available at Boots for £6. Mani uses two pumps of this when she oils her hair.

The last oil Mani uses is pumpkin seed oil, which you can find on Amazon for £4.99.

Pumpkin seed oil is packed with nutrients like zinc, magnesium and omega-3 fatty acids, which are essential for healthy hair.

Zinc helps keep the scalp healthy and promotes hair growth.

Mani mixes the oils once a week and massages it into her scalp and hair ends.

Then she ties her hair with a silk headband and puts a plastic bag over her head, steam her hair for half an hour.

The 4 Phases of the Hair Growth Cycle

Hair experts at Philip Kingsley shared the four stages of the hair growth cycle: Anagen, Catagen, Telogen and Exogen

Anagen phase:Also called the ‘growth phase’ or ‘active phase’, is the phase in which the cells in the hair root divide most rapidly, causing more new hair to be formed.

During the Anagen Phase, hair grows about half an inch per month [about six inches a year]and faster in summer than in winter.

This phase of the hair growth cycle lasts an average of three to five years.

Catagen phase:After the anagen phase, your hair cycle enters a short transition phase called the catagen phase. This phase marks the end of active hair growth and separates individual hairs from the blood supply and the cells that produce new hair.

About three percent of all hairs are in this stage at any one time and it lasts about 10 days.

Telogen phase:The third phase of your natural hair growth cycle is the telogen phase, a resting period during which hairs remain in their follicles but are not actively growing.

It is estimated that 10-15 percent of your hair is in the telogen phase at any given time.

The telogen phase lasts about three months or 100 days.

Exogenous phase:The final stage of the hair growth cycle, when individual hair strands release from their follicles and fall out.

Now the whole process starts again.

After she finishes steaming her hair, Mani washes the oil off in the shower.

“The most important thing is to stay consistent,” she said.

Mani’s hair now looks unrecognizable compared to before she started using the oils. Her thick, long locks look healthy and shiny.

“You see a lot of growth and shine now,” she said.

“It’s improved a lot.”

Mani’s video, posted under the username @manihamalikkkhas likely impressed many people, as the video has been viewed more than 158,000 times on the video platform.

TikTok users rushed to the comments of the video to share their thoughts on her tips.

Someone said: “Thank you so much, my hair is just falling out now.

“I’m going to try this.”

A second person said, “You have beautiful hair!”

A third person added: “Rosemary oil is my absolute favorite!”
