My hair was thin and broken, but I tried a simple 99p hack – now my locks are thick
A HAIRCARE expert has shared her top tip for growing hair back with a cheap purchase.
Asfennah, a trichologist, took to social media to reveal her hair growth hack, claiming it made her locks grow back much faster and thicker.
The brunette beauty revealed that she always used hair oil on her scalp – which some studies have proven can help boost blood flow to the area to help hair grow faster and encourage new growth.
But she decided to amp it up with a 99 cent purchase.
In the clip she said: “My biggest mistake (with) deep oils for hair growth?”
“Don’t start earlier.”
Asfannah shared her hair oil routine in the clip, first applying the oil all over her scalp.
Then she took some hold film and wrapped it around her head to let the oil sit for a few hours.
This not only prevents the hair oil from getting on your face and causing acne, it also promotes hair growth.
The cling film helps retain heat in the hair and scalp, promoting blood flow to the area so hair grows quickly.
She then showed off the results of her hair since using the hack – and it was luscious and thick.
Asfannah also showed how bald spots in her hair started to grow back.
“This is the sign to start taking deep oils seriously!! Imagine what your hair will look like in six months,” she added.
You can buy a roll of cling film at Home Bargains for just 99 cents.
The video has since gone viral on her TikTok account @afsenna with over 3 million views and 83,000 likes.
People were quick to share their thoughts in the comments.
