My hairline receded – within six months it started growing back thanks to a £6 oil
A WOMAN suffering from female pattern baldness has revealed how she made her hair look thick and healthy again, using a £6 oil.
Hair loss in women can occur for many reasons, including stress, after childbirth and due to medical conditions.
Rebecca Stopp suffered hair loss after giving birth, which left her with a “balding hairline, no sideburns and no self-confidence”.
However, the mother of two was able to drastically change her appearance in just six months by using one product.
Rebecca, 27, took to TikTok to reveal that by using rosemary oil she was able to make her locks look thick and shiny again.
Rosemary oil is proven to stimulate hair growth, and you can buy it from Boots for just £6.
To use it, dilute the oil with a carrier oil such as coconut oil and then massage it into the scalp.
Leave the oil on for a few hours and then wash it off in the shower.
“It worked wonders,” said Rebecca, showing off her shiny new locks.
Some people use rosemary oil daily, while others have found that it is better to use it a few times a week.
You can start with a small amount and increase usage as tolerated.
Rebecca’s video (@reistomumof2) has probably impressed a lot of people as it has over 2.7 million views on the video sharing platform.
TikTok users rushed to the comments section of the video to share their thoughts on her hair growth tips.
One person said: “Thank goodness, you don’t even look like the same person.
“You look so much younger now.”
Tips for hair loss
According to statistics, we can lose between 50 and 100 hairs per day NHS.
Normally this is not something to worry about, but occasionally it can be a sign of a medical problem.
These include illness, stress, cancer treatment, weight loss and iron deficiency.
The NHS recommends that you make an appointment with your GP to see if you can identify the cause of it.
Experts at Association of the American Academy of Dermatology also recommend eating healthy, limiting curling irons and using them only for special occasions.
They also recommend using a gentle shampoo and using leave-in conditioners.
A second person said: “I’ll try this.

“Thinning hair is horrible.”
A fourth person added: “Wow, amazing, you look like a different woman.”
