My houseplant made my damaged hair grow halfway down my back
A hair care enthusiast shared that the secret to growing her locks can be found in her own home.
Her damaged locks grew to the middle of her back after she added a houseplant to her daily care routine.
Reddit user Blugty said there was one item that brought her curls back to life.
“Aloe Vera saved my curls and honestly helped me regrow my damaged hair,” she wrote in a after.
She explained that before incorporating it into her hair care routine, her locks would grow no longer than her shoulders.
Now it’s halfway down her back.
She admitted that some of the damage was caused by chemically relaxing or straightening her hair until she was 12, and that she still gets a blow-dry once a week.
Aloe vera has several benefits, which she has experienced herself.
“It leaves my hair extremely hydrated and soft and my curls have never looked better,” she said.
