The 30-year-old woman shared on Reddit that she is tired of her partner talking about his sister at every opportunity.

She said, “My boyfriend and I have been together for almost 2 years now.

“One of the things I like most about him is how caring he is and how close he is to his family.

“But lately it seems like his younger sister is coming up more and more in our daily conversations, and it’s starting to bother me.”

The woman said she can’t bring anything up without her partner’s brother telling her how great his sister is.

She continued: “Sometimes I’ll do certain things, like pile up the dishes, and he’ll say something like, ‘If my sister was here, she’d be so worked up about that.'”

“Last week I reacted strongly and said, ‘Well, she’s not there, is she?’”

After voicing her annoyance, the woman asked Reddit users for advice on whether she should tell her partner that it’s getting on her nerves that he talks to his sister all the time.

The post was flooded with responses from Reddit users, many of whom found it odd that the man kept talking about his sister.
