My husband got his COUSIN pregnant while I was struggling to conceive
A WOMAN was left distraught after discovering her husband had impregnated his cousin while she struggled to conceive herself.
The scandal was kept secret for fourteen years, with the woman only finding out the truth weeks ago.
On Reddit, the mother of one revealed that she and her husband had an amicable separation in 2018, but added that she can’t bear to look at him now, following the discovery.
“I don’t know who this person is or even was,” she said.
“It honestly scares me that someone I thought I knew so well could be capable of something so heinous.”
The woman revealed that her ex-husband and his cousin never intended to tell her husband (who believed he was the child’s father) or themselves the truth.

She added that her son had always longed for a brother or sister, when in fact he had had a half-sibling all along.
The woman would not reveal how the truth eventually came to light, ranting: “I know it’s been a long time, but it’s bloody new news to me.
“I’m so damn angry and hurt. HIS GOD DAMN COUSIN.
“Now my son has a damn brother-cousin?”
She continued: “Thank you so much for dragging my child into your freak show of a family.
“I’m so ashamed. I’m so angry. We were married and I trusted him.
“Our child was never the miracle to my husband that he was to me, and it just breaks me.
“I am ashamed to be permanently associated with this family.”
She added that she lives in a small town and is terrified of the neighbors gossip about the scandal.
The Reddit post was flooded with comments from social media users, many of whom rushed to share their condolences and support.
Can I marry my cousin in Britain?
AROUND the world, more than 10 percent of marriages take place between cousins.
In Britain there is no legal barrier to a relationship between two cousins.
That means that if you fall in love with your aunts and uncles’ children, there’s nothing stopping you from eventually tying the knot.
If you are over 18 years old, you can do this without the consent of your legal guardian or parent.
Marriages between cousins were once very common in Europe, especially among the elite.
One person said: “Being hurt by someone you loved and trusted is devastating, even though you are no longer together, and your reaction is completely understandable.
“I hope you and both children have a good support system.”
A second person said: “That’s so f***d up.
‘The good thing is that you are divorced now. How did you learn about this? Is his cousin still with her husband?’
A third person said: “OMG-biggest hugs to you! People can be so disgusting. I’m sorry about your son.
“For them it may have happened a while ago, but for you it’s definitely new.
‘I would move if I could, but I doubt that’s possible. Be prepared for other hidden things to surface now that you know.”
