My husband is 22 years older than me – jealous trolls say I have ‘daddy issues’
A WOMAN has revealed she is in a relationship with a huge age gap and is closer to the age of her partner’s children than he is to him.
Hillary, 35, is from the US and explains that her husband is 22 years older than her. Together they lead a nomadic existence, travelling the country in their camper and documenting their many adventures online.
Originally from North Carolina, Hillary met her partner Kris, 57, while working for the same company. Before the COVID pandemic, she traveled extensively for work.
But the hardships of the pandemic, which first saw them fly across the country and now find themselves cooped up in a small apartment, led the couple to impulsively purchase an RV and begin working remotely as they traveled across the country.
In 2022, they decided to live a completely nomadic life, selling their house and living permanently in their car.
But in a recent TikTok clip, the engaged couple answered the biggest question they’ve been getting from fans: It’s about the age difference in their relationship, not their lifestyle.

Hillary explained: “We are a couple with a big age gap, there’s a 20-year age difference between us, and we get a lot of questions about our relationship,
“The most important question is: ‘do we want children together?'”
Kris explained that he already has two sons in their mid-20s and that he has no plans to have any more children.
Hillary, now in her mid-30s, admitted she “never wanted children before.”
Hillary added: “I get that question a lot, people say ‘don’t you want kids?’ and the answer is no.”
She shared at the time: “I never wanted kids of my own. I just never had that mom gene. I’m a hairy baby mom, no matter what.”
Hillary acknowledged that there is “nothing wrong” with not wanting children and claimed the choice is “completely fine.”
She later opened up about her relationship with Kris’ kids, sharing, “I love his kids and we get along really well. I’m actually closer to his kids’ age than I am to Kris’, but it works for us.”
