A WOMAN has stunned everyone after revealing her husband is 23 years older than her.
Aaliya Lara, 26, and her husband, Steve Lara, 49, first met when Steve was in Los Angeles for a business meeting and she “caught his attention” in September 2019.

They have been together ever since and even got married in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The housewife from Rancho Cucamonga, Southern California, took to social media to reveal the age difference in their relationship, leaving many surprised.
In a short clip, Aaliya posted a cute photo of her and Steve, advising her followers, “Don’t give up on love, your soulmate probably hasn’t been born yet.”
She then said: “I’m glad we didn’t meet sooner…”
After this, Aaliya shared a click of Steve in his twenties, and wrote: “Him in 1998.”
Seconds later, she showed a photo of herself as a baby, writing, “Me in 1998,” visually showing their vast age difference.
But Aaliya is clearly not fazed by their age difference, as she described her husband as “a provider and protector.”
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @aliyalararahas clearly caused quite a stir, as the video quickly went viral and has now been viewed a whopping 10.4 million times.
Social media users were baffled by Aaliya and Steve’s age difference and many shared their thoughts in the comments.
But there was a clear divide: some found the two “cute,” while others described their relationship as “creepy.”
One user beamed: “This is so cute.”
A second added: “I love it.”

While someone else wrote: “Cute couple.”
But not everyone was so kind, as one troll said: “Y’all really need to stop glorifying relationships like this, it’s really creepy.”
Another agreed: “I KNEW this would be gross.”
And a third said: “You guys love giving away your youth to these men who have been around longer and are old enough to be your fathers.”
Aaliya responded to this and shared, “I would rather give my youth to a man who deserves it and is very sure of what he wants in life than to a younger man who is still living on the streets.”

Aaliya told The US Sun about the age difference between the two: “Since I put our relationship online, the negative comments have been huge.”
She added: “[We get] comments like: “This is sick”, “He’s a predator”, “He’ll leave you for someone younger when you’re older” and many more comments that I try to block out as soon as they pop up.
“I took into account everything that comes with dating a man older than me.
“It may sound naive, but I am prepared to deal with anything that comes our way and I will take care of him until his last breath.”
