‘He thinks I’m a cold woman because I grumble about hugs.

“I think I’m going to kill him if I can’t get uninterrupted sleep.”

As a result of her resentment – and because she strongly disliked the midnight affection – she instituted a time ban on cuddling.

“I proposed a time ban,” she continued.

“He can’t hug me before seven in the morning, when our kids wake up.

‘He says this would defeat the purpose of him lulling himself back to sleep when he had to look at the time.

“This is a great example of someone being a bully but disguising it as love and affection,” one person wrote of the husband.

Another replied: ‘Ask him how he goes to sleep if he’s single, if he wants to fall asleep again.

“What a disgusting man.

“You’re being objectified – he thinks you’re a tool to help him and not a full human being with needs.”

A third said: “My partner sets an alarm so he has time to cuddle me and I find it so damn annoying.”
