A MARRIED couple have hit back at trolls who hate their height difference.

Cassandra and Wes met on an online dating app and hit it off immediately before discovering her partner was shorter than her.

Talk to RealCassandra admitted that she would never have dated someone smaller than her in the past, but she decided to let go of the stigma when she met Wes.

“When I started dating, I didn’t want to date anyone shorter than me because I was so focused on what people thought about me and the stigma,” she revealed.

“But once I got serious, I thought, you know what, I really want to find my person. I kind of let go of the height thing.”

Cassandra is 6 feet tall, while Wes is 5 feet 7 inches tall, but because she often wears heels, she tends to tower over him.

The couple met online in 2017 and sparks immediately flew thanks to their love of fashion.

Although the couple didn’t care about the height difference and tied the knot, they reveal that strangers have a lot to say about it.

Wes admitted that he had dated many women taller than him, and that the height difference had never fazed him.

He explained that others are more concerned about it: “Some misconceptions people make are that I can’t protect her, that she’s not feminine, that I suffer from Short Man Syndrome, which means I actually have an anger problem that she walks all over me and that I have no say in this relationship.

“Like a complete change in power dynamics just because she’s taller than me and I’m shorter than her.”

Cassandra also revealed when people publicly assume Was is her child because of their height.

“Girls think my husband is my son,” she added.

The clip has since gone viral on the YouTube account with over 11,000 views.
