The Ear Sass The company founder, who hails from Perthshire in Scotland, said: “We all have buttons lying around the house somewhere, like the spare buttons on clothes.
“We hardly ever use them, but we’re too afraid to throw them away!
“We think this is the perfect way to put them to good use and take care of your beautiful earrings at the same time.”
She added: “This is what I use when I go away or on holiday and I promise you, once you try it you will wonder why you never thought of this before!”
“We’re even including a pretty pink button with all the earrings we order this summer, so people can try out this simple trick for storing their new earrings for themselves.”
After she shared her trick on Ear Sass’ Instagram page, people were amazed. They had never thought about it before.

The £25.50 earrings are a tribute to Sophie’s niece Issy Phipps, who committed suicide in April 2023.
