By taking care of your hair with a few simple tips, you can get healthier hair.
Reddit user Drinkwinesavepuppies shared how they saved their hair.
“Stopping using aerosol dry shampoo has made a huge difference to my hair!” they said.
And that wasn’t the only trick they had up their sleeve to strengthen their hair.
“I luckily have light hair, so now I just use baby powder, which I apply with a makeup brush and blend in,” they said.
They were especially fans of one particular find: Lush Dry Shampoo.
They said the product also had a pleasant smell.
You can apply dry shampoo the same way you would apply a spray. There are also options for darker hair.

“I noticed that the aerosol dried out my hair extremely and really damaged it,” they said.
Their only warning was not to use the dry shampoo too often.

The rest of their routine consisted of washing twice with a clarifying shampoo to “get my scalp really clean!”
They also swore by another secret that would save her.
“Also, oiling my hair at night has helped. I use a tea tree oil/argan oil treatment I found on Amazon,” they said.
“My hair is on the oily side so I was worried it would aggravate the condition of my hair, but it actually hydrates it well,” they added.

Another Redditor also shared his own hair struggles.

“It caused it to completely dry out and break down. It’s so obvious to me now,” they continued.
Yet another user had his own DIY recipe to save his dry locks.
“I made my own dry shampoo and added cocoa powder to make it brown and blend better into my hair. I bet that would work well with baby powder. I’m going to try that sometime,” they said.
The original poster explained how they sometimes add arrowroot powder to their dry shampoo mix.
Yet another was a big fan of a particular product.
“So clever! The baby powder definitely helps absorb the oil!” the Redditor said.
