My mom tried the viral shower curtain trend, but I think it looks awful
IT is the trend that thousands of people swear by to transform their gardens into tranquil spaces.
Others, however, find it “terrible” to hang shower curtains outside to cover fences or unsightly walls.

The disagreements came to light when Wendy tried out the trend, but her daughter Annabelle was less than impressed.
“There is a serious debate going on in our House this afternoon,” she said in a video on their joint TikTok page.
“Whether those shower curtains that people hang on their garden fences look nice or not.
“And she absolutely loves it!”
Annabel then turned the camera around so that the shower curtain was in place.
“I hate them!” she laughed, earning a stern look from Wendy.
“But there are very mixed thoughts about TikTok.
“I just don’t like them, but my mother thinks completely differently and loves them!”
“Shower curtains in the garden – what do you think?” she captioned the video.
And the reactions were equally divided, 9 people responded enthusiastically. One person wrote: “I have never seen anything like this!
“God nooooo,” sighed another.
“It looks cheap and tacky,” a third commented.
“No, please, they’re worthless!” said someone else.
“Terrible!” added another.
“I really hate them!!!” shouted someone else.
“Absolutely not!” insisted another.
Others, however, were in favor of the quick and cheap decorating idea.
“I have one hanging on my wall and if you put plants on either side it looks nice,” someone wrote.
“I think they are very creative and they look good,” agreed another.
What is the shower curtain trend?
ANOTHER trend that is taking social media by storm is the shower curtain trend.
The trend is for people to buy large shower curtains with fun prints, usually of exotic locations, and hang them on the fence or wall in the garden.
The idea is to transform boring gardens into something exciting, and that is exactly what many homeowners have done.
People attached the waterproof fabric to the fence, creating the optical illusion of a sunny paradise island in their backyard.
“I have one more on the fence,” said a third.
“Now when I sit in my conservatory I look at flowers and not at my neighbours wooden fence! Looks great!”
“I think they are beautiful and have several in my garden,” said someone else.
“They look amazing lol…it brightens things up lol…you’re on a fake vacation now,” laughed another.
“I have four of them and I absolutely love them!” said someone else.
