A WOMAN has told how her mother hid her contraception in a desperate bid to prevent her having sex – but the teenager ended up pregnant.

The now 23-year-old wrote to the hosts of the Closet Confessions podcast to reveal how she ended up becoming a teen mother.

The anonymous woman confessed to the couple and revealed that she was 15 when she first started having sex with her boyfriend.

She took the sensible route and decided to use birth control, but things didn’t go exactly to plan.

She said: I always wonder how different my life would be if I didn’t have a child, let me explain…”

“I was in high school and definitely didn’t want a baby,” she said.

“I was given the pill and took it without any problems.

“Fast forward a few months. One day I went out the door. As soon as I walked through the door, my mom started yelling, screaming, and throwing things. She found my birth control.”

Knowing her mother wouldn’t be happy about her having sex, she told her mother it would help with her period.

But her mother didn’t believe her story and took away the pills, hoping it would stop her from having sex.

Instead, she persevered and a few months later discovered she was pregnant at 16.

Deciding as a teenager that motherhood wasn’t for her, she went to the abortion clinic.

However, it was too late, because she had just passed 24 weeks.

Instead, she chose to keep her pregnancy a secret for eight months.

Although she soon came up with the idea of ​​becoming a young mother, her mother had no more say.

She continued, “I’m sure it’s because she knows she’s one of the reasons I got pregnant.
