My nightmare neighbor burned down our fences two weeks after they moved
A WOMAN is furious after going to her garden and seeing her elderly neighbors have their fence down.
Jodie Davy, from Great Britain, walked into her garden and saw her neighbor making life ‘harder’ for her.
In the clip, Jodie filmed her neighbor deciding to tear down their fence and put it on a bonfire.
To make matters worse, Jodie revealed they had already moved out two weeks ago and claimed they did it to spite her.
Furious at their actions, she wrote: “Why tear them down if you don’t live there!! Pointless!!
“Just to make my life harder for my three other dogs.”
Now that the neighbors had broken down the fences, Jodie could no longer walk her dogs without putting them in danger.
She added: “It makes me so angry. They moved two weeks ago, came back yesterday and did this? Why?”
After catching her neighbors setting fire to the adjacent fence, she later realized they had also removed their back fence.
Jodie added: “We don’t have a fence on the right. They even removed the fence that leads into the woods… strange people!!!”
She revealed that they would be replacing the fence within their property to ensure it could not be removed again.
The clip has since gone viral on her TikTok account @dejodiedavy with over 100,000 views.
People were quick to share their thoughts in the comments.
One person wrote: “Oh your neighbor is a Karen.”
Another commented: “Just put a fence inside your boundary. Then they can’t get to it.”
“Tell them thank you that someone came to clean them up next week you saved me a few quid. Laugh at them. Don’t give them the satisfaction,” wrote a third.
Meanwhile, a fourth said: “Wowwwwwww.”
The five main reasons why neighbors argue
A survey by Compare the Market revealed the main reason for the British neighbors’ dispute
- Broken Fences – at the top of the board was broken fences and whose responsibility it was to fix them
- Parking: one of the biggest causes of neighbor disputes: 54.1 percent of people have problems with people parking in front of their home, parking lot or driveway
- Trees – complaints about the neighbour’s tree destroying your garden path were also common; almost half of the participants found it frustrating
- Garbage wars – open-air garbage etiquette continues to cause the most heated debates among neighbors
- Nosy neighbors – some people have their eyes and ears ready to take a peek and cause trouble for others
“I understand it’s annoying but if there’s a fence then it’s his choice,” claimed a fifth.
Someone else added: “I hate this stuff, I guess he owns that fence? Why does he have to work with you and your dogs?”
