My perfume dupe from an unknown brand is indistinguishable from Tom Ford
A PERFUME lover with a whole stash of scents has shared which knockoff most closely resembles an expensive designer purchase. Smell it for yourself.
She loved the economical scent that gave her an extra luxurious feeling.
Reddit user TrishLondon1976 know that not all dupes are the same.
“I have a lot of Oil Perfumery and generally love them, although I have had a few failures,” she said.
She did not hesitate to share her wonderfully scented secret with others.
“Their Black Orchid is indistinguishable from the gold Tom Ford bottle and I feel very chic wearing it!” she said.
The scents may have been similar, but the price was not.
Oil Perfumery’s Our Impression of Tom Ford Black Orchidwhich retails for $15.95, offers her beloved luxury scent for much less.
The rollerball contains notes of truffle, gardenia, jasmine, lotus, amber, white musk, lotus, black currant and Amalfi lemon.
The perfume also costs a fraction of the price of the original Tom Ford Black Orchid Eau de Parfum, which retails for $240 at Ulta.

The purchase is described as both ‘modern’ and ‘timeless’.
She also had a number of other favorite perfume finds.
“Zara has some great imitations, with Golden Decade being the standout,” she said.
She knew exactly what the scent most resembled and was also impressed with the quality.
“It’s a Libre Intense clone and it lasts a long time,” she said.
And that was just the beginning of the scents on her list.
“Sublime Epoch is their Armani My Way and it’s excellent,” she said.
She also wanted to try another fragrance that she had heard good things about.
“I hope they bring back Majestic Opulence, which is an imitation of La Vie Est Belle Intensement,” she said.
An honest review of a few more luxury perfume dupes would definitely save you some money.
“I have Woman Gold, which is very similar to Lady Million, but the shelf life is poor,” she said.
“Club de Nuit Intense Woman is great, but more feminine than Noir de Noir, which I like better!”
She also explained how she converted many of the rollerballs to sprays, which has “significantly improved the projection.”
Their trick involved purchasing bottles through Amazon and using grain alcohol in a 25/75 oil/alcohol ratio.
Black Orchid was a fragrance that she felt really came into its own.
“I’ve gotten compliments on several rollers that people smell them,” she said.
“I wear them by applying the oil and then applying body lotion. It feels luxurious and then I wear a lovely scented body lotion,” she added.
“The durability of their product is generally very good.”
