My trick for growing eyebrows and eyelashes has an added benefit for dark circles under the eyes
A beauty purchase from the CARIBBEAN boosted the growth of one woman’s sparse eyebrows and short eyelashes.
She shared the trick she uses to get optimal results with the product.
She posted a photo of her enviably long, full lashes on Reddit’s Skincare Addiction forum, which has nearly 2 million members.
LONG EYELASHES
The beauty fanatic shared that her hair growth product also works wonders for the skin under her eyes.
“I use Jamaican dark castor oil for my eyebrow and eyelash growth, and it also helps with my dark circles, for some reason,” she said, writing under the name Pinewine dick.
“Oh, and it also improves the texture of my skin.”
She shared a link to purchase Kuza Naturals Jamaican Black Castor Oil on Amazon after being bombarded with requests to know what brand she uses.
“I don’t really follow a routine, ideally I would wear it at night because then I can wear it all night,” she said.
“Sometimes I wear it during the day when I’m at home, but only on my eyebrows because your vision can get blurry if you put it on your lashes.”
She also shared a must-try method for applying the oil.

EXCELLENT OIL
Kuza Jamaican Black Castor Oil, Extra Dark, costs $9.99 and has a 4.4-star rating on Amazon.
According to the manufacturer, the oil is made from Jamaican castor beans that have been “roasted, ground and cooked.”
The black castor oil ‘rejuvenates’ the hair and at the same time protects it against hair breakage.
The brand recommends massaging a small amount of oil into the scalp to nourish the hair, but didn’t share any tips for applying it to eyebrows or lashes.
According to HealthlineEyelashes should be clean and free of makeup before using a cotton swab to apply castor oil.
In the morning, rinse it off with water or a make-up remover.
Castor oil is considered safe for eyelashes, but experts recommend testing it on a small spot first before using it on the entire lash area.
