A COUPLE have responded after internet users portrayed their relationship as a joke.
Cheryl met her husband Quran Mccain when he was only 15 years old, so there is a whopping 37 year age difference between the two.

But the 63-year-old and her toyboy don’t care what others think of their relationship. They are even expecting a baby together.
In a recent clip shared on TikTok, Cheryl and Quran are seen dancing together. The caption above the clip reads: “She: She was 37 years old when you were born. [SIC]”
The couple continued dancing together as Quran sang along to the song in the background: “I don’t give f**k.”
But people were convinced that the relationship could not be legitimate because of the large age difference.
Someone commented on the viral video: “I don’t think this is anything to be proud of, bro.”
And a second one joined in the conversation: “He really thinks he did something, you just pranked a grandma.”
Others supported their relationship and many defended them in the comments below their video.
“How can people hate you when they don’t even know you? Bless your marriage,” someone said.
The couple aren’t afraid of the attention or controversy surrounding their relationship and also shared a shocking statement about their surrogate mother in a recent TikTok clip.
After three failed attempts at surrogacy, we are now expecting a girl, who will be born later this year on December 27th.
“Our surrogate is in prison and now our baby gets a second chance at life,” Cheryl said.
Cheryl and Quran explained that their surrogate mother struggles with drug addiction, something they didn’t know when they asked her to carry their baby.
The Quran says: “It is not good that our baby is in this situation, because we were not prepared for the circumstances that came with the surrogate mother we chose.
“We take responsibility for that.”
The couple previously spoke openly about their marriage on the podcast, Unmedicated and educatedand talked about the stigma they face and their sex lives.
Cheryl said: There’s a 37 year age difference between us. I’m 63 and he’s 26. People don’t really know what to make of us, but we’re really glad to be alive.”
Although Cheryl, who has seven children who are all older than her husband, is happy, she admits her children do not accept the relationship.
“It’s not good because they’re not interested in us. For example, I have a daughter who approves of him and me, but the rest of them don’t and I don’t care,” she explained.
Quran, who is pansexual, said he was fed up with the hate they received online and claims Cheryl manipulated him.
He explained: “What really irritates me is when I say she manipulated me.
The duo calls the double standards ridiculous, because when women date older men, no one bats an eyelid.
Koran also revealed that Cheryl was the first person he had sex with. He claimed he was a virgin at the time, but Cheryl didn’t know that.
The couple added that despite the age difference, they have a happy sex life and are not afraid of cheating.
“I give him what he wants, he’s happy and I have no doubt in my mind that he will ever cheat on me. I swear to god, I won’t,” Cheryl said.
