Mystery as Frank Bruno Gong did not receive two months after the ceremony he missed

Frank Bruno has to receive a Top Boxing Award – two months after the ceremony.

He could not collect his lifelong achievement -Gong as he was seriously ill.

But former heavyweight champion Bruno63, the gong still has to receive.

He said to the sun: “I was happy that I had won.

“I have held an acceptance speech that Ricky Hatton has read for me and I still have still not received the prize.

“I am astonished not to have received the actual price that I want to show to the world.

“My office asked a few times, but had no pleasure.”

But he wrote a speech that Hatton, who organized the prizes together with the former hunter Nicola Adamsdelivered on behalf of him in the Langham Hotel in London.

It said: “I am sorry that I can’t be with you tonight. Believe me – I would rather be with you than in the hospital that has daily tests.

“Thanks to the organizers of this event and all the people who voted for me to get this prestigious prize.”

Bruno was sick during a long -distance flight and spent weeks in hospitals in Qatar And London.

Agent Dave Davies said: “I have never known that someone will be announced as the winner, never receive the actual prize.”

BBA organizers were contacted for a comment.
