Nando’s employee of three years is left speechless after maternity leave
A mum-to-be has revealed the surprising gift she received from her colleagues at Nandos.
El had only been on maternity leave for a week when she went into labor at home and was speechless.
The young woman, who bears the name of @ellpatoon on TikTok, made a video of herself unwrapping the gift and it has since gone viral with over 10.4 million views.
El has been working at Nando’s for three years and the company celebrated her birth by sending her the “cutest” baby shower gift.
When El opened the box, he saw that they had carefully selected baby clothes with the Nando brand.
First she picked up some milestone cards, which featured Nando’s just like their menus.
She then pulled out a babygrow, along with a matching hat that had the words ‘powered by peri-peri’ printed on the fabric.
Finally, El grabbed a pair of green baby socks, with the words ‘Happy fee since ’87’ and ‘Nando’s’ on the soles.
The video received over 4,680 comments and many people were very positive about Nando’s.
One fan enthusiastically commented: “Okay nandos should be commended, I’ve never heard of a workplace that cared about this let alone this omgggg so cute thing.”
