New design of Samsung’s Galaxy Buds 3 revealed in new leak
The retail box of the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 was recently leaked and it appears to feature a major design change: the addition of stems, according to a report. The South Korean tech giant is expected to launch its TWS earbuds alongside its flagship foldable smartphones at the Galaxy Unpacked event reportedly set to take place in July. The development corroborates previous suggestions from multiple tipsters who claimed that Samsung is implementing a design change for its TWS earbud series this year.
Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 design
Citing industry sources, 91Mobiles shared Multiple images of the Galaxy Buds 3 retail box have surfaced, and it seemingly confirms that Samsung will be incorporating stems into the design of its TWS earbuds – an element similar to the Apple AirPods Pro. The box also bears AKG branding, suggesting that Samsung’s partnership with the acoustic engineering firm will continue.
The back of the retail box appears to have a “Made in China” label along with various specifications of the TWS earbuds. This report corroborates an earlier claim where a user shared an alleged screenshot of the Samsung Members app showing new iconography of the earbuds on social media.
This development also backs up claims from seasoned tipster Evan Blass, who suggested that both the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro could feature stems — a design element that has been missing from Samsung’s flagship TWS earbuds so far.
Galaxy Buds 3 specifications (expected)
The alleged retail box of the Galaxy Buds 3 also hints at their battery life. It is said to offer up to 6 hours of playtime on a single charge. However, the box doesn’t mention whether it comes with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) on or off. If it’s the former, it will beat the battery life of its predecessor — the Galaxy Buds 2 — which promises up to 5 hours of music playback with ANC on.
The Galaxy Buds 3 retail box also claims to offer fast charging functionality, with one hour of playtime after just 10 minutes of charging. According to the box, the TWS earbuds will also come with “adjustable, secure ear hooks” and offer sweat and water resistance.
