New Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 leaks point to new design, several spec improvements
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 is expected to be unveiled by Samsung on July 10. But if you want an early idea of what’s likely to happen, we have a bunch of new leaks about the foldable phone for you to check out.
First of all, a well-known tipster Evan Blass has posted more images of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 that look like they’ve been ripped straight from Samsung’s marketing materials. We can see the cover screen being used for a variety of purposes, including taking selfies.
While we’ve heard rumors that the Z Flip 6’s cover display would increase to 3.9 inches from the 3.4-inch display on its predecessor (see our Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 review for more details), the leaked images we’ve seen suggest the outer screen will remain more or less unchanged for 2024.
What’s different this time around are the colored bezels around the dual cameras on the back, which is a nice design touch from Samsung. Furthermore, it appears that this is supposed to be a flip-foldable, with available colors said to be Light Blue, Mint, Silver Shadow, Yellow, Crafted Black, Peach, and White.

In a separate leak of Ishan AgarwalAnother tipster with a decent track record, we have some of the key specs for the Galaxy Z Flip 6. None of these are confirmed yet, but they do line up with other leaks we’ve seen so far.
The processor will reportedly be bumped up to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, while the unfolded display size remains the same as last year at 6.7 inches. One upgrade we should get is 12GB of RAM instead of 8GB (something that was previously rumored).
Other notable upgrades, based on the leak, include a 4,000mAh battery (up from 3,700mAh on the Z Flip 5) and a 50MP primary camera sensor (up from 12MP). We’ll get official confirmation on all of these specs next week.
There’s plenty more to see at the July 10 event in Paris – we think the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Watch 7, Galaxy Watch Ultra, Galaxy Buds 3, Galaxy Buds 3 Pro and Galaxy Ring will also be revealed. And of course, TechRadar will be covering the event live.
