Redmi is believed to be getting closer to the launch of the Redmi 13C, with leaks and rumours offering insights into the expected design and specifications of the upcoming phone. Back in September, renders of the alleged phone had surfaced online, revealing its colour options and notch design. Now, the phone has been revealed in full in an unboxing video posted on YouTube, which takes the covers off the Redmi 13C’s design and specifications. The Redmi 13C will reportedly arrive in three colour options as seen in the video — a Clover Green colourway, a grey option, and a matte black. The phone is said to be a successor to the Redmi 12C that debuted in India in March this year.
According to a video Posted by Guatemala-based tech outlet Eufracio López 502, the Redmi 13C has seemingly arrived in stores in Latin America. The handset is yet to officially launch, however. The unboxing and impressions video offers a detailed look at the phone, revealing key specs and design details.
As mentioned above, the phone comes in three different colors and sports a flat design. The triple camera setup is housed in two circular housings, which are located in a rectangular camera island on the back of the phone, which is made of plastic. The front-facing camera is housed in a waterdrop-style notch at the top center of the display. The right side of the handset has the volume and power buttons, while the left side houses the SIM tray. There’s a 3.5mm audio jack at the top and a USB Type-C port at the bottom.
The video also suggests the key specifications of the upcoming Redmi smartphone. The phone will come with Android 13-based MIUI 14.0. 1 out-of-the-box. The Redmi 13C packaging mentions a 6.74-inch IPS display with full-HD+ resolution and up to 90Hz refresh rate. The phone is said to be powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The storage can be expanded via a microSD card, as revealed in the video.

The Redmi 13C is said to pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W wired charging. The phone will include a single speaker, a proximity sensor, and weigh 198 grams, according to the video.
