Gavin Newsom government argued on Tuesday evening in a television on television on television that the decisions of President Trump to send military troops to immigration protests in Los Angeles have put the nation in the abyss of authoritarianism.

“Trump attracts a military dragnet everywhere in Los Angeles,” said Mr. Newsom. “Much further than his explained intention of simply going behind violent and serious criminals, his agents, gardeners, day workers and seamstresses are arresting.”
The Governor will be considered a possible Democratic presidential candidate in 2028 and his on Tuesday evening speech called “Democracy at an intersection”, sounded nationally in design. “The congress is nowhere to be found,” he said. “Speaker Johnson has completely rejected that responsibility. The rule of law has increasingly been given way to Don’s rule.”
Shortly before Mr. Newsom’s speech was broadcast, Mayor Karen Bass of Los Angeles announced a curfew for the area in the city center that has seen the greatest demonstrations. Mr. Newsom begged protesters to be peaceful and said that those who destroyed violence or destroyed ownership would be prosecuted. He said 370 people had been arrested so far.
