NordStellar Launches Dark Web Monitoring Tool to Help Businesses Stay Safe
NordStellar has announced the release of a new Dark Web Monitoring tool that helps comb cybercrime communities for exposed credentials, vulnerabilities, and more.
The ‘Dark Web’ is a place where cybercriminals hang out after a successful cyberattack. By monitoring this dark part of the internet for emails, passwords and other sensitive data of your organization, you can increase its security.
By detecting compromised credentials before they are used in a major cyberattack, they can be secured or removed from your organization, blocking this potential entry point and preventing attackers from infecting your systems with nasty malware.

“Companies can search for keywords related to their business and proactively identify risks, take action and prevent security incidents or reputational damage,” said Vakaris Noreika, Head of Product at NordStellar.
“The information shared on hacker forums and chat rooms can be invaluable to a company’s security,” Noreika noted. “Things like fake, malware-embedded applications that mimic a legitimate product, stolen customer accounts, and corporate backdoors are just a few examples of what you can find for sale on hacker forums. Being aware of things like this can help a company protect not only itself and its brand, but also its customers.”
The tool can search information from popular deep web search engines, hacker communities, black markets, and Telegram channels, among other sources.
NordStellar is also working on continuous keyword monitoring to notify organizations if certain sensitive keywords are found on the Dark Web. According to Nord, this will be released sometime this year.
