‘Not by Choice’ – Ex -Prem Star, 38, claims that it is being challenged by Wrexham

Steven Fletcher claims that he is forced to leave Wrexham after their promotion to the championship.
It comes as Hollywood -owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mcelhenney Supervise a personnel shadding prior to their return to the second layer.
Former Burnley Striker Fletcher has credited the Welsh side to help him to “fall in love” with football again.
Fetcher Has scored 15 goals in 71 games since he came to Wrexham in the summer of 2023.
The 38 -year -old yielded crucial goals this season – usually from the bank – to shoot the club to the second layer.
But he announced on Thursday that he will be released – and it was “not by choice”.
Fletcher wrote in an emotional explanation on Instagram: “It is with a heavy heart, and not out of choice, that unfortunately I have to announce my departure of what I can only describe as the most magical club I have ever played!
“In my 22 years of step on a throw, I have never experienced anything like this club.
“I will be grateful for the chance to get here and fall in love with the game!”
Wrexham achieved one to the third straight promotion when they finished second in League One running away champions Birmingham.
It remained a remarkable turnout for the club since being Bought by Hollywood -Superstars Reynolds and Mcelhenney In the National League four years ago.
Fletcher continued: “The experiences have had and the opportunities that this club gave me was just incredible.
“And this group of boys is the best I have ever shared a dressing room with.
“It’s not just a team or a dressing room. This group of boys, fans and employees have been my family for the past two years.
“You welcomed me with open arms and open hearts and gave me the feeling that I had another goal.”

‘The worst part’
Co-owner Melhenney said on social media that outputs such as Fletcher’s “were the worst part” of ownership.

Mcelhenney added: “They are not only players in the team. They are my friends and people I admire”.
He placed Wrexham director Humphrey Ker “somewhat in awe” of Fletcher “because of his extraordinary career at the top of the game”.
He continued: “Now, after two glorious years in his company, I am even more awe for him, because of his capacities, his leadership and friendship.
“[He’s a] Man who has given me moments of joy who last a lifetime. “
That was announced yesterday Fan favorite Mark Howard also leaves the club.
