Nothing Ear Open TWS earphones may launch soon; spotted on IMDA website
Nothing Ear Open could be launching as the UK-based OEM’s next audio product. The moniker of the true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds was reportedly spotted on a certification website. Not much more is known about the alleged audio wearables at the moment. Details regarding the same could surface online in the coming days. Notably, Nothing had introduced the Nothing Ear and Nothing Ear (a) TWS earbuds in India in April this year. They were launched with active noise cancellation (ANC) support and ChatGPT integration.

The Nothing Ear Open was spotted on Singapore’s IMDA website, according to a 91Mobiles reportThe expected audio wearables were reportedly spotted with the model number B182. The earbuds are said to have appeared in the “low power device” category and are said to be listed as coming with Bluetooth connectivity support.
In the alleged listing, IFactory ASIA PTE.LTD. is mentioned as the supplier of Nothing Ear Open, while the product is described as TWS earphones, the report said. No other details other than the name were suggested in the listing. The report noted that the IMDA listing suggests that the upcoming audio wearables could be launched in global markets outside the UK and India.
More details, including an official product announcement, are expected to be available in the coming days. The Nothing Ear Open name suggests that the earbuds could feature an open-ear design, like the Boat Airpodes ProGear or the Noise Pure Pods. They could launch with ChatGPT integrations, similar to the Nothing Ear and Nothing Ear (a) TWS earbuds.
Notably, the Nothing Ear and Nothing Ear (a) have been launched in India for Rs. 11,999 and Rs. 7,999 respectively. They come equipped with 11mm dynamic drivers and support up to 45dB ANC. While the Nothing Ear is said to offer a total battery life of up to 40.5 hours, the Ear (a) is said to have a total playtime of up to 42.5 hours.
