Nothing gives a first look at the 2a Plus phone before its launch on July 31
Nothing Phone 2a Plus — the next offering from Carl Pei-led British brand Nothing — is launching in India on July 31. Just a day ahead of the official launch, Nothing has given us our first look at the upcoming smartphone through a teaser image. The official image offers a full view of the rear and suggests a dual-tone finish for the phone. It also features a dual-camera system on the back. Earlier this week, Nothing had confirmed that the Phone 2a Plus will be arriving with dual 50-megapixel cameras on the rear and a 50-megapixel camera on the front. Additionally, alleged images of the Nothing Phone 2a Plus and its retail box have also surfaced online.
Nothing Phone 2a Plus design revealed
Nothing on Tuesday has shared the design of its upcoming Nothing Phone 2a Plus on X. As mentioned, the phone appears to sport a silver and gray dual-tone design with dual horizontally placed cameras on the back. The image shows a similar design as the Nothing Phone 2a that was launched in May this year. The new phone appears to retain the Glyph Interface with LED lights and a textured outline.
In addition, SmartPrix has shared alleged images of the Nothing Phone 2a Plus and its box. The packaging has a blocky design and looks very similar to the Nothing Phone 2a, except for the “Plus” text.
Nothing Phone 2a Plus: What We Know So Far
There was no confirmation earlier that the Phone 2a Plus will be featuring the MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro chipset. It is teased to feature dual 50-megapixel rear cameras and a 50-megapixel selfie camera. It will feature 12GB of RAM and the onboard storage can be virtually expanded up to 20GB with RAM Booster technology. It will feature Mali-G610 MC4 GPU.
According to previous leaks, the Nothing Phone 2a Plus will come in black and gray colors. The device is likely to feature a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display and an in-display fingerprint sensor. It is expected to come with a 5,000mAh battery with 50W wired fast charging support.
