It is the start of a huge summer Nottingham Forest While the club has been preparing for its first trip to Europe since 1996.

The club has not been afraid to bend its muscles on the transfer market since the promotion of the Premier League In 2022 and did this for a large reward in recent windows, making the side of one fight to survive to one on the way to a European tour.

Of course, however, the stars of last season attracted the attention of the largest clubs of the top flight. Mail Sport reported earlier that Manchester City was interested in an influential midfielder Morgan Gibbs-Whitewhile Anthony Elanga Is also the subject of a lot of speculation about his future.

But if there is one thing that we need to know about forest now, it is that they will undoubtedly excavate a gem this summer, as they did by picking Murillo from Brazil two years ago.

We have made the call for your questions about all things transfers and contracts, and here our Nottingham Forest expert Tom Collomosse reveals everything you need to know …

Is there a better chance that Anthony Elanga will leave than Morgan Gibbs-White?

Although they do not have immediate PSR problems, I would expect Forest to make a big sale at the beginning of the summer.

Newcastle already liked Anthony Elanga for more than a year, where Nuno blocked his sale 12 months ago because he believes that the winger is just as valuable as on the field.

Mail -sport Newcastle had previously revealed a new investigation into Elanga and Forest in June will demand more than £ 50 million. The temptation of Champions League Football can also be difficult to resist.

As for Gibbs-White, Manchester CityThe strong interest seems to have cooled due to the £ 70 million appreciation of the forest and the next steps will be fascinating.

Does Gibbs-White still sign a new deal, possibly with a favorable exit clause, or is it going to stand for a Champions League club?

In that respect it is worthwhile to keep an eye on a possible interest from Tottenham.

When do we make new contracts for all our most important players?

The problem here is that Bos is a victim of their own success.

When Neco Williams came to the club LiverpoolThey had just been promoted from the championship. When Ola Aina and Callum Hudson-Odoi arrived a year later from Torino and Chelsea Respectively forest had avoided relegation.

Now they are a club that will compete in Europe next season and these players – whose deals end in 12 months – want their salaries to reflect that improvement.

But while Bos has thrive on the field, they are not a machine for earning money such as the so -called ‘Big Six’ and they must ensure that the costs are not higher than the turnover. Forest would like to sign all three again, but at the moment the players hold the cards.

And what is the latter about the contract situation of Nuno Espirito Santo?

Nuno was undoubtedly on the Al-Hilal list by the end of the season, but the Saudi Pro League club eventually rented Simone Inzaghi from Inter Milan.

There is little stimulus for both sides to hurry at this stage: Nuno has left for a year to his deal in the city, while the hierarchy may want to judge how things unfold in the coming months before he makes a decisive move.

Can Morato leave the club? Are stellar recruits still viable for forest and is a goalkeeper on the list of goals?

Morato certainly struggled towards the end of last season, but I don’t think Forest is actively looking to sell it.

Regarding Stellaire Recurrent, all top players now want the Champions League and Forest’s hand will weaken that.

But Marinakis has excellent relationships with leading agents and numerous clubs in Brazil, as well as a strong reconnaissance network, so I would still expect Forest to be active. I don’t believe that a keeper is one of the priorities.

How likely are we to be successful in signing Yoane Wissa?

It would have been much easier with Champions League football and Forest will not be the only vovers of Yoane Wissa.

Brentford is also excellent sellers and demand the top price for their players. Wissa has only left on his contract for 12 months, with the option to extend it with a further season – I am sure that Brentford will activate that if they can.

The bees demand around £ 60 million for Bryan Mbeumo and the valuation of Wissa will be comparable. I have trouble seeing the forest going so high, without a big sale.

Brentford Forward Yoane Wissa is one of the top goals of Forest this summer, but can turn out to be a difficult movement to stop after Forest was not eligible for the Champions League

Is there any interest in margin players such as Josh Bowler, Emmanuel Dennis and Omar Richards?

Forest would like to move as quickly as possible to improve their strength in the market – but often it doesn’t work.

Outside of a handful of rich clubs, there is little liquidity on the European market, especially with the kind of clubs that would be interested in these players.

That is why the most likely routes are loan agreements or late player exchange agreements by the end of the window.

Joel Ndala was signed on loan from Manchester City in January with the option to make it permanent. Is that option taken?

This agreement could have been part of the deal to take Gibbs-White to Manchester City, but that path has become cold, after the city’s decision to move instead for France game maker Rayan Cherki, who arrived from Lyon.

That said, Ndala is a home -grown player and these are increasingly valuable for clubs, especially those who compete in Europe.

What is the last about Botafogo Trio Igor Jesus, Jair and Cuiabano?

There is clearly a connection between Forest, Lyon and Botafogo, so if the Brazilian trio completes their movements to forest, it would be no surprise to see Danilo and goalkeeper Matt Turner to France on the way.

We saw the Forest/Lyon Link in action a year ago, when Moussa Niakhate and Orel Mangala became members of the Ligue 1 Club, and there were reports in France that Forest was interested in Cherki before City won the race for him.

What are the latest tour plans for the season?

Forest will probably share their plans publicly in the next seven days, but Nuno wants to go to a minimum travel and believes last summer in Murcia, Southeast Spain, laid the foundation for the impressive season of Forest.

Do not be surprised when they return to Spain or travel to nearby Portugal.

Forest looked at possible opportunities in the Far East and the United States, but decided that the costs outweigh the benefit.

How close are we to know if the club will renovate the city or build a new stadium?

Evangelos Marinakis would never publicly bind itself to a certain date, because it would weaken his negotiating position.

But the forest owner wants the club to play for 50,000 and if that is not possible on the city, he will not be afraid to make the difficult decision.

Forest hopes to redevelopment work in the summer of 2026, but there are still obstacles to erase, and Bos retains the option to build a whole new house elsewhere – as unpopular as it would initially be with their supporters.

Stadium projects can be furious for fans, because there is constant back and forth with the local government and other stakeholders, which slows down the process.
