For the first time in a while, I needed a lot of hints for today’s Strands. I imagine it’s a tough one no matter where you are, but I suspect it’s going to be especially tough if you’re not in the US. A model like the Chevrolet EQUINOX or the Dodge CHARGER isn’t available here, as far as I know – or at least not in great numbers. Most of the others are, I think, but the connection didn’t hit me until I’d used four hints. I’m not complaining; I’ve heard of every one of these models and could have solved them with a little inspiration or maybe more patience, I’m just justifying my poor score today!

What is NYT Strands?
Strands is the new word game from the NYT, after Wordle and Connections. It is now out of beta and is therefore a full member of the NYT stable of games and can be played on the NYT Games site on desktop or mobile.
