Will there ever be another hard Strands? It’s been a while. Today’s joins the easy ranks, with a simple concept and easy-to-find answers, although some are spelled strangely. But as hard as names like KAYAK and DINGHY are in lettering, they’re familiar even to those of us who don’t like watery types, and I found them all in no more than a few minutes.

What is NYT Strands?
Strands is the new word game from the NYT, after Wordle and Connections. It is now out of beta and is therefore a full member of the NYT stable of games and can be played on the NYT Games site on desktop or mobile.
