NYT Strands Today (Contest #127) – The Answers
The answers to today’s Strands question, game #127, are…
- Waking
- SHOWER
- BREAKFAST
- DRESS
- WORK
- TO SLEEP
- SPANGRAM: MORNING ROUTINE
- My score: Simple
- My score: Perfect
What’s your morning routine? Mine involves waking up (don’t snooze), playing Strands, Connections, Quordle, and finally Wordle, and then frantically running around to shower, get dressed, and if there’s time for breakfast, before work. The NYT morning routine, as described here, doesn’t involve word games, but is otherwise a pretty standard way to start the day for most people, I think. And for that reason, it’s also a pretty easy one to nail.
I found WAKE first, which confirmed my suspicions about the game’s theme based on the clue, and then came up with SHOWER and BREAKFAST. Next up was the spangram – and it was so long that it left little room for a dilemma about the remaining answers, meaning I finished this in no more than about five minutes after discovering that first word.
How was your day? Send me an email and let me know.
