NYT Strands Today (Game #211) – The Answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #211, are…
- HEAVY
- MIDDLE
- RESILIENCE
- LIGHT
- WELTER
- BANTAM
- CRUISER
- SPANGRAM: BOXING
- My rating: Moderate
- My score: Perfect
I’ve marked this one as average rather than easy, despite the fact that I solved it with no problems, because if you don’t watch or understand BOXING, you’ll probably have found this a lot harder than I did. I’m not a huge fan these days, but I watched it a lot in my youth when the likes of Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis and Evander Holyfield dominated the HEAVYweight division.
HEAVY is one of the easier words here; you might very well have had a lot more trouble with something like BANTAM, CRUISER or worst of all WELTER. So I suspect today’s game will offer many simple solutions like mine, and many where people needed a lot of hints or failed outright.
How did you do today? Send me an email and let me know.
Yesterday’s NYT Strands Answers (Sunday, September 29, Game #210)
