NYT Strands Today (Contest #153) – The Answers
The answers to today’s Strands question, game #153, are…
- BAROQUE
- MODERN
- ROMANTIC
- CLASSIC
- MEDIEVAL
- SPANGRAM: ART HISTORY
- My score: Simple
- My score: Perfect
I solved this in a rather roundabout way, first the spangram and then the individual answers, but otherwise I probably would have had trouble. The theme clue ‘A night at the museum’ did not make me think of ART HISTORY or something like ROMANTIC and BAROQUE; I thought of dinosaurs and Romans and mummies and so on…
But with ARTHISTORY in place, it became clear which words I needed to find. From then on, I checked them all off without too much fuss.
How was your day? Send me an email and let me know.
